    Morning

We took out a sim only contract from Telkom on 21/03/2025. Had to go back to have the sim ported in order to keep the same number. Since then Telkom IT is doing an upgrade on their system and to date no one at Telkom can advise when this upgrade will be completed for us to have the sim ported. We paid R129.00 on the day we took the new contract and a debit order was deducted from my account for R228.00 and not R129.00. I called last week,(25th of April 2025) to check if they are now
up and running and still they are not. So, we have a sim that we cannot use. Don’t have data or call time. I tried to cancel, and the system does not even allow for this. I tried getting answers from customer care – no luck. Tried getting a Head Office number – there is no number for a Head Office at Telkom to speak to management. This is unacceptable that Telkom has their clients hanging on for weeks with no feedback or service. Your help in the matter will be much appreciated.
